A grand ceremony to promote the upcoming heroic blockbuster "Iron Man 3" was held yesterday at the Imperial Ancestral Temple in Beijing, chinesefilms.cn reports.
Robert Downey Jr. was overwhelmed by the cheers and screams of his Chinese fans during the event and Chinese actor Wang Xueqi was also on hand to help promote his first Hollywood project.
"Iron Man 3" was co-produced by DMG Entertainment of China, and Marvel Studios Inc. and Paramount Pictures of America. DMG Entertainment will in charge of the movie's distribution in China and Chinese actors Wang Xueqi, Fan Bingbing and Jacky Wu will make cameo appearances in the film.
As part of the plot for the latest installment of the Iron Man series, leading character Tony Stark will be challenged by a new enemy whose reach knows no bounds.
The film is expected to be released in China at the end of April.
