The highly-anticipated gangster film "The Last Tycoon," which is slated to open in mainland cinemas in December, is heating up.
Being in the film industry for nearly 30 years, Sammo Hung and Chow Yun-fat will finally meet each other on the big screen in the upcoming film "The Last Tycoon."
In the 1980s, the two actors were prolific in cinemas and their films battled for the box office. Obviously, the results favored the more handsome Chow Yun-fat.
Sammo stated he felt no pressure. "My character in the film is very handsome, and more women are on my side than his (Chow's)," Hung said jokingly.
Hung also revealed that he previously had a good script he wanted to work on with Chow but that their working schedules didn't match up.
"The Last Tycoon" has a star-studded lineup including director Wong Jing, producer Lau Wai Keung and actors Huang Xiaoming, Sammo Hung, Chou Yun-fat, Francis Ng, Yuan Quan and Gao Hu.
