With cast and crew in attendance, the production company of "The Last Tycoom" held a wrap-up ceremony in Shanghai on July 7, Mtime.com reports.
Bona Film Group CEO Yu Dong, film director Wong Jing, producer Lau Wai-keung and actors Chow Yun-fat, Huang Xiaoming, Francis Ng and Yuan Quan were all in the spotlight at the dinner party.
"I haven't worked with a Hong Kong crew for more than 10 years," said Chow Yun-fat, referring to the film crew. "They are energetic and strong-minded. Working with them is enjoyable.
"I had a wonderful time working with Hong Kong veterans Sammo Huang and Francis Ng and also the mainland actors, especially with Huang Xiaoming, 'the mainland Xu Wenqiang' (the classic character which Chow played more than a decade ago)."
Huang Xiaoming said co-starring with Chow Yun-fat would be a lifelong memory for him.
At the event, Yu Dong revealed that "The Last Tycoon" would be released in December when Jackie Chan's "CZ12," Stephen Chow's "Chu Mo Chuan Qi" and Wong Kar Wai's "The Grandmasters" would be screened.
