Ang Lee's latest film "Life of Pi" yesterday published a collection of fantastic images from the film on its official website, Chinesefilms.cn reports.

The images, which are all beautiful Chinese ink-and-water paintings, were released along with a 10-second video clip of the movie produced by 20th Century Fox.

The project, which will be Lee's first 3D movie, is based on Yann Martel's adventure novel of the same name about an Indian boy who is trapped on a boat with a Bengal tiger in the Pacific Ocean.

"Life of Pi" is slated for release on November 21.
