Andy Lau, Yang Mi to Star in "Iron Man 3"

Andy Lau will join the latest installment of the upcoming Marvel superhero movie "Iron Man 3", as quoted by chinanews.com from a Taiwan media report.

This will be Lau's first role in a Hollywood production. Lau is set to play a Chinese scientist who is a good friend of Iron Man, helping him to develop his weapon. Chinese actresses Fan Bingbing and Yang Mi will cooperate alongside Lau in the movie.

Parts of the movie are expected to be shot in Beijing and Shanghai and audiences will be able to see the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and the Shanghai Bund as a result.

According to a number of previous reports, filming for the movie started in May. Robert Downey Jr. will lead the film's original cast, including Gwyneth Paltrow.
