Director Cheang Pou-Soi along with lead actors Shawn Yue and Anthony Wong made an appearance at the event.
The promotional poster and an intense trailer packed with full-throttle car-racing scenes were released during the event.
As a master of producing thriller movies, director Cheang Pou-Soi takes on his first car-racing film. Cheang stated that "Motorway" is a movie which utilizes few special effects, with most of the scenes being genuine.
The plot of the film revolves around policemen who drive in disguised police cars in order to chase down sinister thieves. Young actor Shawn Yue plays a rookie cop while Anthony Wong portrays a soon-to-be retired elderly policeman. The film also stars Barbie Hsu from Taiwan and Li Guangjie from the mainland.
The film is expected to be released on the mainland and in Hong Kong during June.
