Director Chen Zhengdao along with the movie's leading actors Huang Bo and Lin Chiling made an appearance at the event.
"101st Marriage Proposal" is a remake of the popular 1991 Japanese TV series of the same name, which starred Tetsuya Taketa and Atsuko Asano.
In the film, Huang Bo portrays a man down on his luck who tries his utmost to propose to a young cellist portrayed by Lin Chiling.
Toru Ota, producer of the original TV series, sent a video message in which he expressed his best wishes to the crew of the upcoming flick.
The film is expected to be released during the Valentine's Day in 2013.
