Finally, movie fans have been able to catch a glimpse of the actress selected for the leading role in the upcoming fantasy comedy film "Magic to Win", from the movie's newly released trailer.
After a wave of promotional activity, which managed to conceal the identity of the leading actress, Wu Qianyu's face appears in the new trailer confirming her role in the movie.
"Wu Qianyu has the chance to become next Angelababy!" producer-actor Bak-Ming Wong commented on the model-turned actress who is still not yet 18. Famous actresses Lynn Hung and Angelababy both made names for themselves in Wong's films.
As the first co-production between the Chinese entertainment giants Ee-media and Huayi Brothers Media, the budget of the film is thought to be about 10 million US dollars. A host of heavyweight names also appear among the cast, including Louis Koo, Wu Chun, Yan Ni and Wu Jing.
The release date of the film is set for December 1st.
