Actor Chen Kun is set to embark on series of charity activities, having just finished his scenes for Wuershan's current production "Painted Skin 2", according to a report in 163.com.

"I can't believe that the shooting is already over, it went so smoothly. It was so fast. I'd like to thank everybody who has helped me and cared about me during this time." Chen wrote on his microblog.

The first stop will be Tibet where Chen and another ten volunteers from colleges will spend 11-days walking from August 25 to September 4.
