Nicholas Wu joined the cast of "Royal Tramp." [Photo: sohu.com]The legendary Hong Kong martial arts novelist Louis Cha's famous piece, "Royal Tramp," will hit the national screens in 3D, suhu.com reports today.
The movie is derived from the on-line game of the same name. Former "Little Tigers"'s member Nicholas Wu and Chinese actor Hu Ge had join the cast. The production team has started shooting in Hengdian.
In the film, the leading roles will travel back to Qing Dynasty and experience the story of the original novel.
"Royal Tramp" is the last novel of Cha. It has been put on screens for many times. Stars include Stephen Chow, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Jordan Chan and Huang Xiaoming have portrayed the protagonist, Wei Xiaobao, who helped The Emperor Kongxi to kill the treacherous minister, Ao Bai.
