Director Gordon Chan has been shooting his martial arts film "The Four Detective Guards"("Si Da Ming Bu") in Ningbo Xiangshan Motion Picture City for several days,Sina.com reports.Adapted from Taiwanese author Wen Rui-an's popular wuxia novel of the same name, the film features Liu Yifei, Deng Chao, Ronald Cheng and Collin Chou as the four detectives.
Set during China's Northern Song Dynasty, the film is about four detectives with unique professional skills. In the film, Liu Yifei takes on the role of "Heartless" who can communicate with animals.
The film's co-stars include Anthony Wong, Sheren Tang and Jiang Yiyan.
