Chinese action thriller "The Stool Pigeon" has released posters of the six main characters, following the grim style of the trailer and describing every figure's different destiny, Sina.com.cn reports.
"The Stool Pigeon" is directed by Dante Lam who has used the same filming crew as on his previous film "The Beast Stalker" and added other performers including Liu Kai-Chi, Kwai Lun-Mei and Lu Yi.
According to director Lam, the new film focuses more on the complicated human nature of the characters. When the policeman and the informer have to collaborate with each other, what will they do as they stand on opposite sides of the law? How can they build up a sense of trust? These will be the main topics of the film.
The film will hit screens on August 26 in both Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland.
