Before "Go, LaLa, Go" hits screens on April 15, it has been shown to cinema managers across China and is considered to be the No. 1 fashion film currently in the country, the website M1905.com reports.

"I think this film will surpass 'Sophie's Revenge' in terms of fashion because of its beautiful scenes and active performers", said Wu Helu, Vice Manager of Shanghai Lian He cinema. "I believe it will be as popular as the ancient-costume and action films."

According to a survey by the film's producing company, nearly 80 percent of interviewees said they believed that "Go, LaLa, Go" would garner 100 million yuan (US$14.6 million) at box offices, while 35 percent said the film's focus on fashion was what attracted them the most. Thirty percent of the respondents said they were intrigued by the movie's office love story.

Some viewers also disapproved of the film's product endorsements, but director Xu Jinglei said such endorsements made her feel honored.
