Nicholas Tse, the winner of the 4th Asian Film Awards, is to give his award to his son.

Nicholas Tse was awarded the Best Supporting Actor at the 4th Asian Film Awards on March 22nd.

It has been 12 years since Nicholas Tse won his last award for his performance in "Young and Dangerous: The Prequel" in 1998 when he won Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

Though playing a small role in the film "Bodyguards and Assassins" in 2009, he proved his acting skills.

On the award stage, he thanked his wife Cecilia for taking care of his son Lucas while he was away filming.

Backstage, Tse was crowded by the media when he appeared. They asked whether he would give the cup to his unborn child as a newborn present. He frowned and replied, "It's none of his business".

Tse then spoke of his feelings for his older son Lucas.

"I spoke to a friend this morning. I told him it was okay if I wasn't given the award. The friend replied that the award would be for Lucas. I suddenly realized that it is true, and that all the films we make are for the next generation."
