Hong Kong producer Peter Ho-Sun Chan's film "Mr. and Mrs. Incredible" held a spring fashion show at the 34th Hong Kong International Film Festival(HKIFF) on Tuesday, the website M1905.com reports.
Chan's second film held the special promotional event on the third day of the film festival. Twelve models dressed in costumes designed for the film walked onto the T-shaped stage. The movie's lead actor and actress, Louis Koo and Sandra Ng, appeared during the show's finale.
The film was shot this month and has a budget of more than 7.5 million U.S. dollars. It is also the second film that Chan has produced on the Chinese mainland after his previous success with "Bodyguards and Assassins," which was shown at last year's Hong Kong Film Festival.
Chan told reporters that his new flick is a comedy and costume film. It is basically a mix of the American films "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and "The Incredibles," although it takes place in ancient China.
This is also the first time that Chan and Ng have worked together since the film "Golden Chicken" and its sequel, which helped Ng win the Best Actress award at the 40th Taiwan Golden Horse Film Awards in 2003.
