The movie will have its festival premiere on March the 23rd.
Leon Lai says the film is different from his previous police-action movies.
Leon Lai said, "It shouldn't be similar, the director made the screenplay different. There's no need to make a film which is the same as the others."
Director Pan Ho-Cheung's "Love in a Puff" will have its gala screening on March the 24th.
The film, starring Miriam Yeung and Shawn Yu, is a love story set against Hong Kong's smoking ban.
It is not known how audiences will react to two of its "squeaky-clean" pop-stars playing cynical anti-heroes.
Both films will have public screenings at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Hong Kong International Film Festival runs from March the 21st till April the 6th.
