China Film Co-Production Corporation

China Film Co-Production Corporation (CFCC) was founded in 1979 and authorized by the SARFT to administer affairs relating to Sino-foreign film co-productions, and to provide coordination and other services.

CFCC's main responsibilities are: to review proposed scripts of the Sino-foreign co-production projects, to facilitate applications for the co-production, to conduct preliminary review of the completed films, to introduce Chinese domestic studios to foreign parties, to provide consulting services for the proposed projects, to provide assistance in relation to customs clearance for filming equipments, film stocks and materials to be used in the co-production, to facilitate entry visas for foreign crews of co-production projects.
