Set up in April 2004, China Film Promotion International (CFPI) is committed to providing assistance and service for the promotion and commercial distribution of Chinese national films overseas. Nearly all the dynamic film production companies in mainland China are CFPI's members. CFPI's main obligations are: to facilitate the participation in international film festivals and markets for its members, to hold China film festivals, weeks or exhibitions overseas, to provide information on overseas distribution for Chinese film producers, to build up distribution networks for Chinese films in the international market.
