Shanghai Film Group Corporation (SFG) was established in 1996 by joining the forces of Shanghai Film Studio (established in 1949), Shanghai Animation Film Studio and Shanghai Doubbing Studio. Its operates encompass motion picture and television production, management of cinema circuits, operations of film & TV filming base, manufacture and rental of costumes, props and equipments, management of the movie channel, international co-production, etc. SFGC boats the capacity of making 20 films, 50 telecines, and 800 episodes of TV dramas each year. Besides a large number of animations, science and educational films, TV dramas, it holds about 700 feature films in its archive. SFGC is dedicated to be a competitive motion picture and television producer of scale, strength and experience at home and abroad.
